Washington D.C.- Congressman Robert Garcia (CA-42) met with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) today to discuss accessible infrastructure in California’s 42nd district. SCAG develops long-range regional transportation plans that prioritize sustainable community strategy, regional transportation improvement programs, and regional housing needs in Southern California.
Washington D.C.- Today, Congressman Robert Garcia (CA-42) joined Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07), Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), and 34 of his colleagues in introducing the Transparent Representation Upholding Service and Trust (TRUST) in Congress Act.
Congressman Robert Garcia is the First LGBTQ+ Immigrant to Serve in Congress. He will be sworn in following a 3-day delay led by Republicans in disarray.
Congressman Garcia will be sworn in on the Constitution, with him he will have a photo of his late parents who he lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, his citizenship certificate, and comic book Superman #1 on loan from the Library of Congress.
