“We should all welcome the hopeful news of a ceasefire and peace negotiations happening in Israel and Gaza. All the hostages must come home safely and we must end this horrific nightmare immediately. Israeli & Palestinian lives have the same value and all deserve a lasting peace,” said Congressman Robert Garcia.

"Prime Minister Netanyahu has stated, 'There will never be a Palestinian state. This place is ours.'

This is an incredibly dangerous and irresponsible statement. Each day brings new horrors from Prime Minister Netanyahu. He and his right-wing government continue their attacks and settlement expansion in the West Bank, with no progress toward a ceasefire in Gaza — which I called for almost two years ago. And we are no closer to freeing the hostages.

Long Beach, CA – Today, Congressman Robert Garcia (CA-42) joined local leaders at the groundbreaking of the long-anticipated Studebaker Road Transformation Project. This landmark investment in one of the city’s major transportation corridors was made possible in part because of federal funds, including over $1 million in Community Project Funding secured by Congressman Garcia.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Robert Garcia (CA-42), senior member of the House Aviation Subcommittee, announced the Department of Transportation has awarded over $24 million in federal funding for Long Beach Airport, which was requested to help upgrade the airport to improve operations and better serve travelers. This award from the Federal Aviation Administration will expand key parts of the terminal and improve areas to make it easier and more comfortable for passengers to get through the airport.
