Leading Long Beach during the COVID-19 pandemic taught Congressman Garcia that we must be ready to respond to emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic and protect the health and safety of the American people. Congressman Garcia believes the Federal Government must act to ensure we have the funding and organization to not only respond to these kinds of crises in the future, but to lead the way in research and pandemic prevention.
