Congressman Garcia speaks with Lindsey Reiser About the Conflict in Israel

"Joining me now is Democratic Congressman Robert Garcia of California, the ranking member on the oversight subcommittee for foreign affairs. Thank you for being with us. >> Happy to be, thank you. >> I will start with your reaction to this move by Schumer pushing funding for Israel. He said the senate package could put pressure on the House. What aid would you support. How confident can you get it done? >> I think we support the efforts. The fact that senator Schumer is there with a group of senators is important. We affirmed our support for Israel in this difficult moment for Israel and for the region. He is hearing directly from the leadership there. We expect a package from the senate in the house. The House is going to need a package in aid. It could be a variety of things. The White House will send us direct requests as it relates to the entire funding level. We are ready to get to work. The unfortunate part is the house is paralyzed. Until the house majority and the Republicans elect a Speaker, there's very little we can do.
